A 'journey interrupted by capture' refers to the part of a ship‘s voyage that ends in its capture. The journey begins at any (usually known) place, and must terminate in a place of capture. The 'journey interrupted by capture' may also have an intended place of destination mentioned. The harbour, a ship was brought into after seizure, is the place of destination of the following 'forced journey' and not related to the 'journey interrupted by capture'.
